Americas Claim 12 Missionary Deaths in 2009

According to Zenit, 37 Catholic missionaries (12 in the Americas) were murdered worldwide in 2009. Some of those were reported right here on the pages of this blog -- Father Lorenzo Rosebaugh (May 18 in Guatemala), Father Ed Hinds (October 23 in New Jersey), and Sister Marguerite Bartz (November 1 in New Mexico).
