40 Days of Prayer: Day 20

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12).

When the pimps, traffickers, and facilitators have faces and names, it is easy for us to see them as the enemy -- and to become intimidated and afraid for ourselves. We ask the unanswerable questions, “How could one human being do this to another?” and “How could I possibly make a difference?”

Pray that we would recognize that it is a spiritual battle we are fighting.  Pray that we would stand firm and put on the whole armor of God. Pray for One Ministry as they distribute gift bags in New Orleans East, and volunteers going to West Bank strip clubs.

Since we are halfway through our 40 days of prayer, now is a good time to remind ourselves of why we are engaging in this prayer.  Click here to remember.
