"We wait for Yahweh; He is our help and shield. For our hearts
rejoice in Him because we trust in His holy name. May Your faithful love rest
on us, Yahweh, for we put our hope in You” (Psalm 33:20-22).
Our God is the ultimate Protector of the oppressed. Pray that in
our efforts to free the captives, we would put all of our hope in him. Pray for the hopeless who wear invisible chains, that they would hope in the holy name of God. Pray against the despair which causes them to submit to their captors. Pray that Yahweh would shield them from harm until they are able to rejoice in their freedom.
