"We Start a School in Cambodia"

NY Times columnist, Nicholas D. Kristof, and his family have built a junior high school in Cambodia. This in and of itself is noteworthy. However, Kristof believes that education is the key to combating the horrific sex trafficking businesss in Cambodia -- and that makes the school all the more important and essential. Click here to read Kristof's blog about his family's trip to Cambodia for the school's opening ceremony.

  1. Kristof's story is really inspiring as it shows how individual people make a difference. Just as with global warming and environmental issues, it's more likely to be the "small" things each of us does daily and consistently that will ultimately make a difference in eradicating these large scale problems. I am coming to see more clearly that it is about changing individual behaviors and about empowering people individually. I am left now pondering the question, "What more can I do?
