"We Start a School in Cambodia"
NY Times columnist, Nicholas D. Kristof, and his family have built a junior high school in Cambodia. This in and of itself is noteworthy. However, Kristof believes that education is the key to combating the horrific sex trafficking businesss in Cambodia -- and that makes the school all the more important and essential. Kristof's story is really inspiring as it shows how individual people make a difference. Just as with global warming and environmental issues, it's more likely to be the "small" things each of us does daily and consistently that will ultimately make a difference in eradicating these large scale problems. I am coming to see more clearly that it is about changing individual behaviors and about empowering people individually. I am left now pondering the question, "What more can I do?
